We have a 2012 Bambi. When I am setting up our trailer and lowering the stabilizers in the front I have to stand on my head to fit the hand crank into the screw in order to lower them. The end of the screw is about 10 inches from the side of the trailer. This seems to be a design flaw. The stabilizers in the back are easy as the screw comes to the end of the bumper. Is anyone aware of an after market attachment so that the end of the screw is extended to the side of the trailer?

Smile, yes, indeed, there is a resolution! I purchased my BAMBI 16' Sport 2015 from Windish. RV IN Lakewood, Colorado in April. I asked them to remedy that issue for me prior to picking up my TT. THEY EXTENDED ALL 4 stab jacks to TT edge...they said it was much like what is on the bigger AS. I ALSO BOUGHT THE CHUCK FROM THEM WHICH ALLOWS ME TO STAND AT THE SIDE, ATTACH MY 18 watt Dewalt drill (with chuck) and zip jacks up or down with ease. The crank is not bent, as with hand is straight to edge of TT. So nice!

I also had them install an electric tongue I won't need to struggle with that, either. Also extended sewer tube access and sewer tube canister to edge of TT. Added rain cover over roof vent fain. Problems solved.

I hope this helps you. Your AS dealer should be able to do the same for you. Good luck! HAPPY TRAILS, YA'LL! Evelyn.
