Square footage of floor in 1972 23 ft Safari Land Yacht

hi, I want to replace my orange shag carpet with a laminate flooring. I store my trailer about an hour away, so I can't measure it, and I'm trying to figure out materials cost. When I redid the floor of my 1965 Shasta, I used linoleum tile squares, but I think I want to do laminate in my airstream. I was trying to figure out the square footage, is about 90? Also, any ideas about what is better, linoleum or laminate? Thx Maggie

Our 1970 Safari is 88 inches sideways, wall to wall, and right at about 20 feet inside front to rear, subtract the shower area. We're looking at the floor in a month or so. We've used Linoleum before, works and wears great, install was a snap. Good luck!

well...I've asked so many questions in this forum before but now I'm happy to say that I can answer one! I just did my floor in my '62 safari 22ft. Took abou 90 sq ft. I used ALLURE traffic master laminate planking. Got it at Home Depot. 3 boxes w the cuts and half the box left over. Easy interlocking pieces. They just stick on. They're simple to cut and I took out the base moulding and then put it back was a breeze and what a difference it makes. I had the original linoleum yellow squares and now it's still a vintage trailer but a more contemporary floor.

Won't last long in most campgrounds. At least not the ones I visit. Quiet is one thing we love.
