Small metal plate on end of frame
I have two metal plates that go on the frame under the floor. One on each side. Look at the pictures and please tell me how to install these correctly. I want to put this in correctly. What order does this go? ( Frame, aluminum flashing, floor, C-channel ?). Please place these in order for me. I was under the trailer looking and I noticed that it will create a space between the floor and the frame. Is it suppose to do that?

Brian, those go inside the c-channel, inside the Airstream. Do you have these in both places (above the floor in the c-channel and below the floor)? I've got a couple of pic's in my Full Monte. Let me go look and I'll post a link.

I placed the floor in but it is not anchored in. It is a real tight fit. I don't know how I am going to put these in the c-channel and keep them from not moving. I will have to go out and look at this again.

I stated that badly, they go on top of the c-channel. Can you see them in the first picture in post 184 I mentioned above?

Two extra, outbound of the main frame rails. Those two heavy metal "slugs" are there to hold the shell to the main frame rails using two large bolts. I replaced those bolts with stainless steel because the originals were so badly rusted (the slugs were also badly rusted, so I had a couple of extra made). If you need to, give me a call. Maybe I can explain it better.

I will give you a call after dinner. I am the chef tonight so I am typing this as I am cooking a apple pie (Yuummm). I am really impressed with how clean your channel is. I never cleaned mine that well. I cleaned it but it does not look like new. What is the gel you have in the channel?

Apple pie? We'll be right over! 
I cleaned the channel then painted it with a cheap can of automotive spray paint. I then sealed around all of the bolts with Sikaflex to keep water out of the bolt holes. I didn't want leaking water to drain down the holes into the new wood floor.
