Installed shower fixture today, had to modify black plastic housing because of 3/4 plywood thickness, worked out great.

Very nice! Love the boomerang Formica!

How is the sink faucet plumbed in? Is it separate supply connections than the shower faucet?

Wow! THe finishes look great! Can you post another pic on how you finished off the door frame for the bathroom cabinet? Looks like you lined it in some black metal?
Fantastic work!

Wow! I'm speechless about this whole thread. I began reading this last night and like a good book, could not put it down. Once again, like many, I'm amazed at how talented our AS community is. Thank you for providing such great info! Lady, my '69 Safari, is traveling to my buddy's house this weekend so I can get started on a rear floor repair. Too many great ideas have my brain hurting this morning.... I'm inspired to rethink the whole space.

Toastie's work is awesome and more than worthy of inspiration. If you really want to make your head reel, check out some of these "Major Renovation" threads, they are absolutely full of even more great ideas and fantastic work.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f44/...ons-35399.html

Like this thread, many of them are lengthy and as much personal story as DIY tips, but they're well worth the time spent reading. Chances are, any question you might have, has already been answered in these threads. I consider them required reading for anyone about to do any major renovation/restoration work. Good luck!
