Permanently installed fridge and stove top today, went with 12V, AC and propane for the fridge, installed 2 fans with hidden on/off switch, have good flow of air going out the bottom vent, combined fans produce 166 CFM .

Grounded the brakes, electrical box, battery, stop/turn signals, license plate light, running lights, bargman white wire to grounding bar. The breakaway switch I used a 15A fuse between black to blue wire, battery positive post a 30A fuse to the 12v 7 way black wire. A 40A fuse between battery and IntelliPower

1) Brown wire....Right Stop & Turn....one wire to bargman brown wire, white to ground bar

2) Red wire.......Left Stop & Turn......one wire to bargman red wire, white to ground bar

3) Green wire....Tail & License and Running lights.........wire to green, white to ground bar

4) Black wire.....Battery Charge.....one wire to positive battery post and to bargman black wire battery, white to negative grounding bar

5) Blue wire ......Electric Brake, breakaway ..........white wire to ground bar.

6) Yellow wire....Center Auxiliary.....not using

7) White wire......bargman to ground bar.

Toastie, you hit all those correctly(no doubt you would), but have you not wondered why red is not right? I wonder this every time I wire something up. I also always think black should be the negative. In our language, black has so many negative connotations.

Wiring was my biggest challenge, these 2 charts and the forum really helped.

I have that same chart printed off and hanging on the wall. I follow it religiously. I just wonder why the colors are chosen as they are. Red on right sounds better than red on left. Brown on ground. White hot. These are just what seems logical to me. I follow black= charge, white=ground, blue= brakes, green= running, red=left, brown=right, and yellow is always looking for something to do.

As you know, your doing a great job. Godspeed.

Started putting the finish touches on the plumbing. The hot water tank will be electrical only, not want to cut a large hole for propane and 100% of our camping there is always electricity. Tank will set in a drip pan with a valve to drain as shown in the pictures.

Toastie... do you have a link to buy those mirrors? I searched "General RV" but didn't find them.
Thanks!

We bought them at General RV - Birch Run Michigan RV Dealer , I would give them a call, she told me that they just got these in and are selling like hot cakes. The had only one large set left. She also gave me 10% off.

A few other places:

Hi Toastie,
What water heater did you go with? It looks like it might be a dual electric/propane unit just with the propane not hooked up. Is that right?

Toastie, having a hard time finding pricing on the mirrors. The Milenco site takes you to a dealer in New York State. The General RV search doesn't bring them up. Mind telling what the price range is on these?

Great idea putting the pan under the WH. I'm going to steal that idea from you.

Jim
