Should I Plug holes in the frame?

I'm in process of renovating a 1986 29' Sovereign and am ready to start putting on a new belly pan and rear storage compartment.

First: Should I cover up the larger holes in the frame (>1/4")? Is there a negative I need worry about besides potentially trading water?

Second - Where are holes in the frame / belly pan I need to address? Areas I'm aware of include: rear storage bumper 3" holes in frame, end openings in frame, 1/2 holes in rear frame, front A-frame openings, wheel well openings, propane lines, seam separations, front stair tracks, fresh water tube, rubber waste gaskets for dumping tanks. So far what I mentioned appears fixable. It is what I don't know about that worries me. What am I missing?

Thanks for any insight!

Boy, I think you got them in spades. I plugged some "mouse entrances" in my 86 Limited, but I'm sure I didn't get them all. I ran a "trap line" all winter and would put their little bodies in the snow for easy pickings for the hawk, owl or fox.

I used to live in Shorewood just north of Chanhassen not far off 101. Very nice area.
