Shell on subfloor replacement

Hello everyone. I use to have a 1981 280 excella 2 Motorhome but it burned down June of 2015. I have since bought another airstream but this time a 1989 Excella 1000 which I found in Baytown, Texas-near Houston. This trailer had orginal tires on it!!! Yes original!!!! I took it straight to Discount Tire Co. and had the 15" rims switched out to 16" and also put the michelins everyone is raving about on it so it could make its trip to its new home in Austin, Texas.

I have been reading airstream trailer forums and watching Youtube video's for about a year to help aid in my restoration of a trailer this go round. Feel free to take a look at my previous post to see pictures of my Texas Longhorn tailgating rig. Anyhow, today was the big day, I finally started demo. Thanks to the help of my two nieces we actually made progress. Only thing I can say right now is Damn I hated cleaning that C-channel and we're not even done.

We successfull removed the back curve section of the walls although still working on the two pieces just forward of those.
