Shell off with floor

I was wondering if anyone had attempted a shell off with the floor still in the c channel? I have a 1974 Sovereign 31 and it appears that by cutting the bolts that go through the c channel to the frame, and removing the bolts that secure the ply floor to the frame, the whole thing would lift of as one? Would the floor weight be too much for the shell? Would the channel simply not hold the floor in place?
Any feedback would be much appreciated. Drilling all the rivets securing the frame to the c channel seems like a mission and it does look like it would come off as 1. Any ideas anyone?

Are you not removing the plywood? Much easier to take it off the frame plus you can make a template before removing it.

I think it would be difficult to attempt. How would you detach the belly pan from the floor channel? Then the weight of the floor would be supported by the c-channel on the edges with no support in the middle. I think it would be near impossible to do.
