Shell lift question

Should have asked this sooner, and it may already have been answered somewhere, but I still have a LOT of reading to do ! When you folks lift the shell off the frame, do you remove EVERYTHING? I'm talking widows, awnings, and A/C, by my guesstimate, those items probably just about double the weight of the shell alone. The windows aren't a big deal, they really don't add that much, but the awnings and the A/C are a big job, and I'm not even sure I can remove them by myself, anyway. Thanks!

I would remove all 'external' items which do not add strength to the AS shell. AC, yes, awnings, yes... etc.. While you have them 'removed' you can 'service' them so they work smoothly after reinstall..
