Rivet replacing plywood floor with plastic

I read on the forum (somewhere) that someone had replaced their wood floor with some type of plastic flooring which sounded like this would be a good idea to prevent any future floor rot and would also be lighter weight. Does anyone know what was used, where to get it, how thick it was, and if you could do it yourself? We are planning on gutting our old AS and putting in all new appliances, fixtures, ect... We, too, had noticed some floor rot and thought that once we took the floor out that we would replace all of the plumbing, ect.....
