Repair services

My daughter has a 1967 Airstream located in Cadillac, Mi. We plan to use it on a long distance trip this summer and would like some repairs made to the unit.

When it was purchased, the frame behind the wheels was cracked/broken. This has been repaired but I am concerned about other parts of the frame. Is it possible for the metal on the bottom to be dropped so as to examine and reinforce the frame?

There also is aluminum that is worn though inside the rear access door that needs to be replaced/repaired to help mouse proof the trailer.

We would also be interested in having the trailer polished as the exterior is in excellent condition.

Do you have any suggestions for repair facilities that might do this work?

Thanks,

Keith

Keith.

Two things cause the frame failure.

1. Unbalanced running gear.

2. Bad axle/axles.
