Rear separation

Hi

I am in the process of fixing the rear sepration, we have rewelded the frame & I am ready to jack the frame up to bolt everything. I am just second guessing myself, I don't have a plan view of what it is I am doing at this point. My frame was pretty rotted when I started. I need to know what I am bolting the frame to & the process. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
Lyne

Hi Lyne, first I would suggest the removal of the belly pan and also the banana wraps. Just so that you can properly get to the frame.

In regards to the rear assembly, there is:

1. C-channel that is riveted to the outer skin. Which appears to be missing in the pictures.

2. In between the skin and the c-channel there is a hold down plate that is riveted together. Also appears to be missing.

3. The bottom of the hold down plate is then secured to the 3/4 inch plywood and into the frame. Although, I did mine a little differently. I secured mine to the 3/4 in plywood and also into some "L" stock that was welded to the main frame rails.

I have a manual from my 75 that may give you some insight. What model and length?
