Protector of the frame

Just a word of caution and advice!

I recently removed the so called "SS frame protectors" common on late model units only to discover an alarming amount of rust forming.

I know AS recommends checking under them periodically but after I strip the front frame and POR-15 the area I don't think I'll put these moisture traps back on.

I do seem to recall that new models do not have them.

Always something,

Michael
