Propane connects and regulators.
I have had the seal on the upper part of the Fisher R966 regulator leak. I removed the top and made a new gasket. all was ok but the red gas out indicatore would not work (naturally)
I was able to call a firm and they shipped me a new unit (only 69 dollars)
I installed it al all worked well
I did notice that the flame on the stove (and my wife complained) was low.. I looked all over and was not able to resolve this. I did notice that the tanks ran out of gas in about 21 days. then in 14 days. I call the supplier to buy a new regulator and he indicated he needed an output pipe size. I had to take off the out put fitting to measure that. On doing so I discovered I had used (TEFLON TAPE ) to seal the brass adapter. and iI was able to turn it by hand with a little effort.
I removed the adapter , used some proper sealnt and tighten all up. The flame on the stove perked up and I have no leak.
HERE IN TAKE
NOTE. No teflon on Brass connections
