professional or expert amateur in baltimore-philly

hi all, does anyone have any recommendations for someone they have used for work in the baltimore to philly area? I have a 66 safari and although I will be doing a lot myself, I know there are a few things I don't have the expertise, tools or ambition to tackle (changing of an axle for one and possibly some exterior skin change). If anyone has any recommendations for folks who do this in my area please let me know? and if you've got any warnings against using someone could you please PM me as well? I'm a newb and I need all the help I can get . thanks!!

Classic RV is a smaller shop, but probably half the distance from you.

Colin Hydes would be a much nicer area to wait it out, while the work is being done, if you have the time.

There may be other places that are good, and closer. But these two are the ones people mention for axles when people in the area asked And I have heard good things about these two.

Actually….

That sounds like a nice trip.

The other thing is….You could avoid the NY/NJ crazy roads if you went to Hydes

Check out Nomad Airstream online. They do major AS renovations and conversions. They're located in Plattsburgh NY (northern NY up I-87 - the northway)

There's always Frank Yensen in Baltimore !!!! I met him last year and have heard good things about his work. Don't have a number but he lurks here on the forum so shouldn't be hard to find. I had work done by George Hernandez in NY and will recommend him very highly.

All excellent picks! Though Frank is your more convenient alternative.

If you choose one of the "northern" options, let us know, and we'll help route you around the problem areas....

Frank Yensan at Franks Trailer Works is right in Baltimore. He does great work and is as honest as they come.
