Just read the last few pages of this thread.
First of all, that was an epic crash and I'm glad to see that you're getting better.
Second, very glad to see AS 2.0 in the driveway.
Three, using all of what you learnt on version 1.0, version 2.0 will be way better.
Four, I think that trooper did you a favour.
Up here in Ontario Canada at least, once a driver has been found to be impaired, they automatically loose their insurance coverage; now you're faced with a battle trying to get money out of your own insurance companies uninsured clause, knowing that they have no hope of renumuration from the drunks policy holder. Your own insurance will even tell you to sue the drunk to get monies that you believe are yours if your insurance company decides to play hardball, forcing you to settle for less; if the drunk has no money, good luck.
The trooper may have appraised the situation and decided that feigning ignorance was in your best interests to get compensation.
Goodluck with the new project and look forward to reading what you learnt and what you will change in the new project.
Cheers
Tony
