new floor treatment

Question:
I am getting ready to put the last three feet of floor in the trailer. Should I treat the plywood with something?
Someone in another post mentioned something about PC Product Wood Guardian. Any recommendations?

What about coviering the outer four inches of the board with aluminum flashing and caulking (vulkem) the crapola out of the lower belt line?

Sounds like a good plan. You could also use PVC shower pan liner (available at HD or Lowes), along with epoxy resin to seal the plywood.

The shower liner is a flat sheet of very flexible gray PVC sheeting about 40 mils thick. It might be easier to use than aluminum flashing, but it won't be cheaper. I used it under my bathroom shower and above floor blacktank.

Thanks Markdoane! I'll stop by the store tonight to see what I can find.
