More Floor Replacement Progress

I'm nowhere near as fast as Toastie with their amazing progress. But here's where we stand after today's frame welding session on the '65 Caravel. My neighbor offered to weld the forward cross member back in place this afternoon, so here are some pictures. I've replaced the rear section and now I'm preparing to install a new middle section. There's a picture of the new floor all primed and painted, and another showing the frame weld along with some wiring laying on the belly skin. (Brakes, ground, charge and tail/marker lights). Next I have to rebuild an inner fender.

Looks good!

Cosmos-

Good looking trailer and great progress. Please keep posting pix. I know of 2 1965 Caravels that will be started when the frigid Northeast thaws.

Hey - when you weld the center section, consider moving the center cross-brace so that you can have two grey tanks of equal size over the axle. That is if you are adding grey -- are you?
