Looking for decent sandblaster for frame

Hi, I have a 15 gallon air compressor that pushes 4.6scfm and another smaller 5 gallon air compressor, but I'm looking for a sandblaster that these compressors could power well enough to do the job. Was hoping you guys could help me find one. Not looking o buy another bigger compressor, but then again you gotta do what you gotta do. Any info would be helpful. Posting a pic of frame and surface rust to show so you can have a feel for my project.

How about just adding another tank for volume. Once charge and by the time you loose mini operating pressure you will want a beer anyway

You wont get anywhere fast with that small of a compressor. I have a 120g tank and it runs a lot when blasting. I think you'd be better off looking for a blaster to come to you and take care of it. Look up dustless blasting. Prices are fairly reasonable

Been there with smaller jeep frame and a harbor freight blaster with 2 compressors running and not very effective at all. I never take my own advise but having a pro do it could be money well spent.

I bought a sandblaster from HF and did quite a bit of blasting using a 5 gal compressor with no problems not sure what tip I used but they come in different sizes the larger tip opening the more cfm required.

However; my compressor specs says it will put out 6.5 cfm and is belt driven.

I understand the feeling of accomplishment doing it yourself. Unless you think you will need to do more blasting in the future, another vote for Dustless Blasting.

Sand Blasting

I bought the charming cheapie sandblaster from Harbor Freight for about $40. I used sand from Home Depot. I have a fairly small compressor and was able to get all the rust off of my frame (22' Safari, 1966).

This is NOT the recommended way to do it. Using sand is a good way to get silicosis if done long term. I used a mask and got the job done in a day or two. My setup was also outside in very wide open country (a rural area outside of Tucson)

If you can find a shop and tow the frame to them and let them to do it,
its quick and the mess and crud stays with them.
If that won't work rent one for 1-2 days if they have a matching blaster git it also.
