Of what?

I have a jetted tub in the yard, no joke, I could trim it and drop the trailer shell over the tub, I think the tubs rim follows the rear bath's curve pretty close.

Just curious, what are the penguin's names? And wouldn't it be difficult to clean out the 'mess' they would make in the underbelly of the AS?

Sorry, I just had to go there. It has been really enjoyable reading this entire thread and now that I have posted, I am subscribed so will eventually get to see pictures?!?

It took me a minute to figure out what you were saying. lol. birds...

Well, something will happen someday, but I'm afraid today might have pushed the AS plans back just a little bit. It most definitely postponed the tool hauler.

As I was driving out of Kroger today, I saw a nice big glossy PREVOST. So, I swung around to get a second look, right into a concrete pillar! AHHHH!!!

I know I was distracted, but what the hell! At one point there was a light on top of it, now it's just a random truck killer in the middle of a, dark, back corner of the lot. 2' tall, faded, chipped up, yellow paint. I was turning into the light, so in a normal glance, all I could see was gray.

In an old lot I would have expected it, but this was a well kept Kroger, it didn't mesh with the norm in my mind.

I was supposed to move the AS in a day or two,.. I guess it's Home depot's rent-a-truck time

At least, I know I won't be on the roads new years eve.

This seems like a pretty cool project. You know, Einstein said "Imagination is more important than knowledge". Don't ever let the naysayers get to you. Rock on, dude!

Have you made any drawings?

I would point out that he never advocated ignoring physics......

True enough, but then I also suspect this thread is a hoax.

The real reason I posted that comment, however, is that as a scientist I get tired of that quote of Einsteins being used to suggest that facts and knowledge are unimportant. Einstein was arguing for the importance of possessing and explorers spirit, not for magical thinking.

hahahaha
It's no hoax.
I have, I think, two more days and I'm done with home restoration that is entirely over budget. So, I'm focusing 100% on that.
As soon as I can clean up and clear stuff out of the way, I'll take some pictures.

I have been drawing every night. I also spoke to my uncle, who builds huge skylights for hotels and malls. Once I'm more definite, about what direction I'm heading in, he/we will draw it up with cad. He said his verision, ran in the tens of thousands of dollars. It has a library of materials, their strength, weight, and all that good engineer/physics stuff.

I will take pictures of drawings, but you have to promise not to run off to the patent office. The tool hauler would change the world of constuction, and save gas, so there's a good chance it will be patented and thrown into a dusty, dark, corner.

I'm not sure if you can see the rest of the album or not.
I going to attempt to upload more pictures differently, I lost the internet for a day trying to upload these.

I had better drawings, but I keep changing things and seeing different routes, so I quickly scribbled the latest AS. (If you allow it to be called such) These are just to give you an idea of what I'm thinking.

Center bath route... If I can sell off the rear-bath stuff, closets, and possibly the original tanks, for a decent price, it might be do-able.

The main thing I'm trying to accomplish, is a plan to lift the AS up to carry 4-12"x3'x5' tanks, a 20"x3'x5' tank, the old tanks, and be able to remove them for cleaning or storage. I would like the old tanks in the original floor "permanently" mounted, and be able to slide the water tanks in under those tanks. This would also allow me to get to the ducted A/C.
(The ducts that run along the wall, are above the floor).

The tool truck box thing, is pretty much how I want it. Have a few options drawn of front support and the way the walls meet the roof. (like the ladder lift? lol)

a cross between these.http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/x...ndplans763.jpg

I found this picture today. I made it a year ago, it's time to build.

I have a problem with the patent system. I want to talk and discuss the tool hauler, but I would like to sell them someday. I don't know the laws, so I posted this as a new age poor-man's patent. It should count as something. I just don't want someone blatantly stealing and patenting other people's idea's causing them not to sell their own product.
I have never had such conflicting points of view on a single subject. It is the topic of the next 100 years for a reason.
