Jackknife to floor attachment

I have a new to me 99 27 foot Safari that came with 2 chairs that replaced the jackknife. The jackknife came with the sale and will be installed when there are more than just the two of us. Am I right that the jackknife is just installed with wood screws or am I missing something? The green carpet is now out and the new floor will be installed this weekend. I want to use the 4 same holes in the subfloor and have an opening in the new floor to install the jackknife when needed. When not needed have some sort of cap over the new floor to hide the holes.
Looking forward to the new project and the new floor.
Thanks, Doug
