Still working on it , just so many little things that are time consuming! Had the body all riveted on but had a problem with the panels bulging when I was fitting the wheel wells. I had to drill out the rivets at the corners and add spacers to move the body back. live and learn, it has been challenging but also rewarding.! I know it will be nice when done!

Gettin' ready to start Vegas Wedding resto

When you decided on the new frame, that looks great by the way, did you use the old one for the pattern? How did you determine the size of the material? What do you think the built up frame cost.

I had the old frame right beside the new frame build, so I could copy it as much as possible but changed a few minor things.
I used a slightly thicker material but it was 2x5 tubing.
I priced it out and it was going to cost $3000 to get it built by a local shop. So I bought everything myself and only spent $1100!
