hold down plates

The hold down plates in my rear C channel of my 86 Sovereign have been bent over at the plate. About 3" of the thread is bent over. How do I remove these and reinstall new bolts so as to slide my new flooring under the C channel. Is the fame threaded or is there a nut on the bottom?

A dremel tool with a cutoff wheel works. If you can get to the heads on the bottom side you can grind them off with an angle grinder. They bend the screw so the nut won't come off. Try not to damage the c-channel in the process.

When I put a socket wrench on the bolts, they were so rusted they just wrung off and I easily got the channel out. I think I had to cut one with a cutoff wheel, but it wasn't hard to get to.

I would put stainless steel bolts with Nyloc nuts going back in. will have all the bolts you need.
