Hardware/insulation

I've been doing a lot of research on this subject but haven't found a recent answer. What type of insulation goes under the floor. And what hardware do you use to hold the floorboards down? Old hardware heads are are large flat machine screws.

Use elevator bolts and FOAMULAR Extruded Polystyrene (XPS ) Rigid Foam Insulation. Fastenal or vintage trailer supply has the bolts and the box stores carry the insulation. I used 2 inch foam with 2 1/2 inch screws with fender washers to attach.

Thanks for the info. Did you double up on the insulation? The frame cavity is 3-4" deep. Also, did you use that insulation on the walls? We are debating that or Reflectix.

1 layer is good in the belly pan. The foamular insulation is not cheap besides the walls are only 2in max. For the walls, I did spray insulation. It's a personal choice so research the options and go with the one you like.
