FREE to Austin area Airstreamers

I'm desperately trying to clean out my workshop for an upcoming project and I have some left-over Airstream items FREE to anyone local who will come by and pick them up. Don't ask; I won't ship them.

1. 21+ sq ft of tongue and groove bamboo floor left over from my 25' Classic reflooring job. There are 28 3" x 3' pieces plus 3 short ends. This is nice honey-colored bamboo and looked great in my 25.

2. A curved wheel well cover from my 22' International that I removed when I made the dinette into a couch. It is 3/4" thick and about 4' long, made of laminated lightweight plywood. Exact dimensions on request. Could be of real use in a re-designed interior; the 75th annicersary trailer has some curved corners like this.

2. Two almost new foam back cushions from the 22' International. I swapped them for softer foam when I made the couch change. They are each 38" long and slightly tapered.

If you're driving to Austin - you might as well drive to Houston....

I have for free - with no warranty whatsoever - the driver side credenza, table, and stereo out of the '78 Sovereign of the Road 31'er. The table and credenza are the best fake plastic wood airstream could find in 1977, and the tambour is intact and operated well. The table is missing the hinge off of the leg, but everything else is there. The best part of the whole deal is the stereo system - separate tuner/amp and 8 track tape player. Included are about a dozen 8 track tapes by greats such as Willie Nelson, John Denver, and Barbara Streisand.

If you hurry I will throw in an operational gas/electric amonia fridge that only takes 2 days to cool down.

Such a deal could not possibly last long -

Same offer as John - don't want to haul them to a shipping point.

PM for directions.

Even more free stuff

Also in Austin:

Bins and wire shelves from early '70s Dometic RM76 (At least I think that was the model...). Replaced the fridge last summer.

Prefer pick-up but can ship if you are patient and cover the shipping costs.

I am considering making the same change to my 2004 22' International CCD - Replacing the dinette with a couch. Could you supply pictures and possibly details on how you did this?

Look at the 2003 International threads. I posted lots of photos and text there. You also could probably do some searches on the word couch and turn up these posts.

John,
Do you think 21+ sq ft of flooring is sufficient to refloor our 25'? (We are visiting Marble Falls at the end of the month, so the iming may be good.)
Thanks,
Keith

Sorry. This bamboo is enough to cover a 3' x 7' area. Enough for a hallway, a galley area, or the area in front of a sofa, for instance. Not nearly enough for an entire trailer.
