Yes i like the flip up shelf, but the counter top is somewhat lower than original so i had to cut off some of the side panel and therefore the flip up shelf doesnt fit anymore.'
So no butter on the toast anymore

It's called a screen, or is sometimes written "screening".

Too bad about the toast.

Wow, V-E-R-Y nice, Dick! You hvae taken over thirty years off of the exterior of your trailer! Do you plant to add "sunglasses" (rock guard) to your trailer? Might match nicely with the heavy tint on your truck...

And that's a pretty spiffy tow vehicle, too, I might add.

Splitrock,

In a different post he explained that he had to have the side mounted wheelie jack to pass the EU safety inspection. Don't you just love all the laws we have in the world? I have always found it interesting the differences in EU regulations and American regulations.

QC,
The Sov looks sexy! Enjoy the European rally!

Yes i needed to have the side wheel, but the inspector didn't really care. I am in doubt to get it off again and put a reese system on. But the wheel is very usefull.
And about the sunglasses... I have put it on a few days ago, also the flagpoleholder, made in the USA.
Picture is a bit dark.

Wow! A gorgeous trailer! There is just something about that looong stretch of shiny Sovereign aluminum that is so classy. You did a great job of marrying the vintage interior materials with up- to- date appliances: it really looks terrific. Seeing yours makes me even more sorry we sold our Sovereign!

Many happy hours in her!

Vivian

How can you tow the trailer if the frame is so badly rusted into or through in spots? I know I have seen the trailer's A frame rusted through in spots as well as in the rear where it is connected to the bumper. I would really appreciate your comments.
Is it ok to tow because the floor is screwed to the frame?
Thanks
Rodney in Dillon South Carolina

It was bad but not bad enough to fall down in pieces when driving I changed the frame because i would like to be safe for the next 30 years to come.
Made a yoube movie of the project so far
