Frame Issues on 34'

I am considering a 34' model, is there issues with frame sag/weak frame as with some of the smaller Airstreams. Does anyone know of any major issues with a 34'? I read someplace about weight and balance issues, but I recall that was only on the front kitchen models? Any input would be great. Thanks.

A 34 is a great trailer.

Sag happens when the coach is abused.

Keep the running gear properly balanced.

Make sue "ALL" the exterior gaskets are in very good condition. Keeping exterior water out of the trailer, is a must.

Check the axles out to make sure they are still ok. If the trailer has been parked for an extended period of time, then the axles could be bad.

See the VAC Frequently Asked Questions and read about the 1969-79 Beatrice period.

I own a 34' 84 Limited (3 axels), it pulls great, the weight balance is better than my 31' 76 Land Yacht. The only problem of tweeking is if when parked its not leveled correctly.

I love our 34'. It pulls like a dream. I have no frame issues. I have seen some real deals on 34'ers this winter. Good luck!
