Question Floor thickness???

I have run into an interesting problem with replacing the floor in my trailer. The floor has been patched and "fixed" so many times, and there is so much damage to the wood, I have no idea what the thickness of the floor is or should be. I know that the current trailers use 3/4" and I have heard that some of the older trailers like mine could have been 5/8". So is there anyone with a 1955 airstream or close to that year that knows what the original thickness is? I would love to know. Thanks BB 55 Bubble.

Hi Bubble,
I think most are 5/8 inch plywood. Our 55 is and so is our friends 63. Some people use 3/4 inch to replace the whole floor so it feels more solid. If your replacing sections you would, of course, stick with the original thickness.
