Floor rot and tracing leak

I am a newbie and I have a 1991 25' Excella. The rear three feet of the floor has rotted out and I thought the floor rot was due to the bumper connection and have the panels off and most of the rot out. On the door side when the rear left panel came off I found water at the top. Guessing either the window or where the awning attaches is the source. Do I need to take the panels off inside and trace the water up - could it come from the vent fan? If so how do you take off the molded upper rear panel after removing the breaker panel. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
