Floor Edge

Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about covering the edging that the wires run under on the street side? I'll include a pic...I'm putting in a pergo type laminate and I'm curious to what others have done with this particular area. I've been searching threads but have come up with nada...just a lot of nice looking floors ....Thanks!

Follow-up

Well I thought I'd post a follow-up to my dilemma which came out pretty well.
I used one 44" piece of oak cut in half, then ripped it down the middle and it butted up perfectly to make a nice rounded edge. It looks even better stained to match the cabinets.
