Experience with Ground Control TT - Automatic Leveling?

Howdy,
We're working on getting Wally the Airstream buttoned up on the outside prior to working on the interior. I'd like to put the Ground Control TT system from Lippert Products under our '59 Airstream Ambassador. We've already repaired shored up the frame. I've searched the forums here but not found a ton of info.

Anyone have any experience with them?

My goal isn't to lift the airstream but more for stabilization. I'll still use blocks under the axles to get it close. My thoughts are to install the stabilizers to the main rails of the frame.

Let me know if you have any experience with them!

Thanks!

Welcome Aboard!! 👍

My thought...If you are using blocks under the wheels to begin with, why bother. 🤔
You only have to worry side to side, the tongue jack takes care up/down.
My stabilizers actuate with a 3/4" socket on my cordless drill.

Just wanted to share an update. I reached out to the manufacturer to get their opinion of the matter.
After I spoke to a tech, let him know what I was doing, etc he told me that he wouldn’t recommend installing the TT system on an Airstream without significant modifications done to the frame.
And that closes out my experiment with the Ground Control TT.
<quote> Kyle,

Thank you for getting in contact with us on this. As soon as I saw Airstream, I slightly cringed on this. Unfortunately, the TT leveling system will not configure to this frame, unless massive modifications are done. I would not recommend putting this system on your Airstream.

Please let us know if you have any other questions. </quote>

Thank you!

Well, you certainly found an honest tech, willing to tell it as it is. Kudos to the tech!
