I took my 29 foot airstream and weighed my options it was replace my frame and floor and all my hatches and some outer skins. Then go and find a big tow vehicle and be at least 8 or 10 thousand in debt or find a smaller camper so i took my 29 footer and cut 19 foot out of the middle and riveted the rear back to the front and replaced the floor and now I have a 10 ft small camper and kept the airstream. It was a lot cheaper than getting another one or a smaller one and i can tow it with a 4 cyl truck with no problems. All I wanted was a weekend camper and I liked my airstream so much that I had to make a custom camper
