Cold Weather Floor Replacement

The frame in my '63 Overlander is currently being repaired and I am anxious to keep the momentum going regardless of the cold temperatures here in Maine. Does anyone have experience using the cold weather formula CPES product from RotDoctor? Product info says temperature range is 32-68 degrees.

I would like to treat the edges of the new subfloor with CPES before it goes in. But if its just too cold, what are my options for treating with CPES after installation? Any way to get the edges saturated after they are tucked nicely into the C channels?

Loving the forward momentum,

Kate

Hey there,

Any chance you can apply the sealant inside your garage for your subfloor? I am in the exact same position. I have decided to template cut all my new subfloor pieces, making them a perfect fit for the c-channel. After this is done, I will take every piece out into my house/garage and apply the sealant to the edges to avoid the cold and for the sealant to bond properly in room temperature.

Best of luck, sounds like you are well on your way!
