Breathable Fabric or 1" Foil Faced Polyiso?

My post earlier describes a complete floor replacement. My trusted local RV shop recommends the breathable black fabric below the floor, above the frame. One of the techs at factory said they would use 1" polyiso insulation (closed cell) w foil face, and cut slits in the foil face to allow some breath ability. Thoughts?

I forgot to mention my unit does not and never has had a belly pan. Another option I have seen is to fashion some heavy duty plastic sheets into belly pan and insulate like traditional units.
