Black water Tank as floor template

I noticed my rear bath black water tank has a parallel curve with the walls, since my original subfloor disintegrated, what are the chances the black water tank curve will work? Keep in mind that the actual subfloor would extend another two inches due to the wall thickness.Click image for larger version

You might save a little time using your black tank as a pattern, and you might regret the short cut. Your black tank isn't custom fit to your shell, it just has the approximate shape of the planned trailer radius. I see a fair amount of uncertainty.

The only way to make sure your new floor matches the curves of your specific trailer is to use the trailer shell itself to create the pattern. Many people have the problem of an incomplete rear sheet and have to go about it this way. Use cardboard or a piece of thin masonite slipped under the trailer, and then trace the actual curve.

good luck.

Thanks for the good word. I. Was thinking along the same lines. I planned to pull the body up off the ground with a gantry and then lower it down to get a curve outline from the actual shell onto the actual floor. Your suggestion may do the trick though.
