best pattern for plywood

Any suggestions as to patterns for the floor layout, I cannot get 9 ft plywood that's not $140.... thanks in advance

Not sure why you would need 9 ft sheets. A 1960 Tradewind should only be 88 inches wide.

Don't get too hung up in the pattern. Just make your joints strong and use liquid nails on your joiners. As few as pieces as possible is best. I had two halfs with about a 6 inch joiner in the middle.

Use the old floor as the pattern once you take it out.

Best to run the plywood lengthwise. The panel is twice as strong in the long dimension.
