You can always go out to the edge of town and watch the corn grow also. This time of year it is growing fairly fast.

Thanks Frank and you too Rich and Lou,

No plans this time for a tourist visit - I am on a mission. Dead-head straight home.

BUT, in two weeks when I return, I will have the family with me and plan for a return camping trip to see what we can. It will be a warm up for Disney in the end of June. Nobody better tell my new little girl. We are in the process of adopting a 5 year old and have been her foster parents for 6 wonderful months. We have wanted to go camping with her before but this floor issue came up and stopped all that.

Any one been to Mammoth Caves recently? - looks like a good stopover for a night.

Trailers are rolling in. Lots of WBCCI numbers but I will not post their numbers for fear of making someone angry. Campers and being trucked out of the yard for delivery all the time. Looks like Airstream is back in business from the recession - lets hope so.

More later - Hey Frank - I tried to call your office number today - NO ANSWER. Hummmmmmmmm, must be nice to be the boss.

Mike

Well, I wandered the yard today. There is a 2003 22'CCD just repaired that had 4 foot of floor rot in the back. It also had the frame stiffening kit installed on the outriggers and main frame. I say this alll becouse I received a email from another member that had the same identical damage done to his and had advised that owned of the same damages. Not I have my neck hairs standing on end. Not a good thing. So i wait until the morning to see what is said, it's not making me very happy.

Frank, I want your job, you can have mine. Seen most of the world - just remember 73%+ is water, and i go place that people shoot at you alot.

Chris will be helping me in the morning - I hope it all goes well.

Mike

Hi, are they replacing the floor with OSB, or can you request regular plywood?

Cool Diversions

Mike, If your going to be up there awhile and you get tired of staring at aluminum and 2 inch tall corn fields, there are a couple of diversions around there. The museum of the air force is in dayton (45 minutes) and is awsome (and free) if you like planes and rockets. there is a Packard museum in dayton and the neil armstrong space museum in Wopakakneta just up the road. Hope the floor thing works out, PM if you want more info

Congratulations on the new daughter. She will love growing up camping in the Airstream and going to Disney.

Have a great trip in late June. It will be hot and humid...plus the crowds. Wish I was going with you guys.
