Adhering vinyl to painted plywood

After replacing the rotten floor and and leveling the sheets i painted two coats of oil base floor paint to seal in old wood smell and hopefully protect the plywood from future leaks, spills, ect. Looks good, smells good but will the vinyl I plan to install stick to it ?. I plan to lay the vinyl down under everthing else so most of the outer edges will be covered of course. I have read lots of posts on the buckling nightmares people have had and plan to use the sheet vinyl that gets completely glued down not the free floating type. Anybody had good or bad expierences doing this?.

I put sheet vinyl in my 63 over bare wood and some replacement plywood in the weak spots. It has worked ok for the 23 years I have owned the trailer. I put down carpet on top of the vinyl about 8 years ago.

maybe pics will help

Thought I would try to post some before and after here. First time posting pics so we'll see. As you can see the painted floor is well sealed and am wondering is maybe it should be roughed up a little for the adhesive to bond properly. Sure don't want it to start peeling in a couple months.
