Just got back from the plumbing supply store. Here is what $570 of plumbing supplies look like. I'm using Viega Pure Flow fittings with Fostapex tubing.

Hi Top,

It's always good to have a second pair of eyes, and I could also learn something from helping you with your plumbing. If you'd like a hand, let me know. It's just a short drive up there from Round Rock, and I do need to put some miles on my truck!

Thanks for the offer Dave. I wouldn't mind some help. I'll send you a message. Maybe Steve could even get in on the action. He has also offered to help many times.

Dang why are all you helpful Texans so far away. Or is it me that is too far away. Anyone want to travel a little bit to do some polishing.

Dave.....does this mean you're feeling better? I've seen that you've been posting a lot more as of late...the A/S itch coming back?

I'm very much feeling better and have been given a clean bill of health.

I've been easing back into 'life' over the last couple of months - it feels good, let me tell you!

Pex is moving along at a quick pace. If it hadn't rained earlier I'd be nearly finished. I wish I'd have bought this stuff last Friday.

Every initial PEX pressure test of mine looks like an indoor sprinkler system. It needs to be pushed all the way into the fitting, then pulled back on.

Drainage

Well, not a bad Sunday at all I guess. We had some friends over for a small BBQ. My good friend and fellow 1SG is leaving for Afghanistan next week. I hope he enjoys being in the stone age as much as I did when I was in Afghanistan.
I managed to finish the drain plumbing this evening. Working with ABS is not bad at all. When the glue dries I'll fill 'er up to the P trap and see if there are any leaks. Here are a few pics.

I wasn't planning to re plumb under the galley, but I have a small issue finding an adapter to connect the pex to the original (I think) water lines. Neither copper line is standard 1/2" copper water service pipe. I can fudge the one line with a sleeve. The other is no where near close. Probably best to yank it all out under the sink and install new stuff.
