'65 project begins

Well I am pretty sure I have floor rot! The interior is shot but it has good "bones". I feel guilty after reading how many have done their resto outside. We are lucky enough to have ours parked in our barn. Out of weather and wind. We may even be able to heat the area for better winter work.

I am going to keep taking it apart till I hit good pieces, then reassemble with a little resto modding on the mechanics, but keeping the vintage flare.

That looks like it will be a nice project. I can't wait to see it as the work is being done.

Looks like a nice trailer! We're just putting ours back together after doing the same thing you are, with the same floor rot. Hoping to put our new subfloor in this weekend, weather permitting. You are very lucky indeed to have yours indoors!

Check out my thread in the '65 Overlander section to see pics of our deconstruction process.

Best of luck and keep the pictures coming!
