Thinking of purchasing it. Owner says busted skylight during storage allowed complete destruction of interior. He's gutted it, but bathroom fixtures and appliances remain (the latter, unusable/unrepairable).
He also says frame is rusty and floor needs replacing. How do I tell if the frame has the kind of rust that could cause the frame to crack and fold in two?
I'm considering buying it, but not to restore, but to furnish it as a mobile office with all-custom furniture and accessories.

Regardless to what you plan on using it for, frame and floorboard issues will need to be resolved before it can be safely used. Having a client fall through a rotten floor would make for a bad day at the office.
It sounds like this trailer is in pretty rough shape. I'd be cautious about investing any money into a trailer that, without seeing detailed pictures, sounds like it's going to be a lot of work.
Good luck,
Barry
