Just dropping by to introduce ourselves

We are John and Lynn from Fullerton, CA. We bought our first airstream in November of last year and are just starting restoration...plan to take the shell off this weekend. We have a 55 Flying Cloud. There are a few pics of it posted on this forum.

Looking forward to comparing notes on our progress with you and Don...and eventually getting all the FC's together.

Lynn

Oops! Just went over to check and the photos must have been deleted. I haven't been on the forum much lately. I will have to repost them.

Rally season over for now!!

Well we are home and the Rally season is over for us for now. I guess it's time to get back to work on the FC 55. We had a great time with all the Rally members. Its so great to put faces, personalities, and trailers to forum friends. First I need to winterize the Bambi and move stuff around and then it's back to work. Have any of you done any new work of your FC's?

I have some fairly straightforward work to do on the '51. I broke the drain out of the fresh water tank when I was winterizing and that means removing and replacing the tank. To do that I will have to take the dinette area out of the front to get proper access. I will probably tackle this between Christmas and New Years which always seems to be my most productive time through the winter months. It's not nearly what you guys are undertaking by any means, but it will still feel good doing something on the old girl once again.
