1973 Airstream

I'm looking for some advice please. My neighbor has had to relocate to Colorado due to work commitments. He will be listing is house here in Florida real soon. He has left me with the title to try and sell his 1973 31 foot Airstream, this is a total project trailer. The inside is gutted and the frame rusted out, however, the exterior is in great shape. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on the best way to contact the right people who are looking for a project camper. Many thanks.

Steve Hall.

They are often listed on E-bay. Or you can list on the Forum Classifieds here. Also, many people list them on Craigslist. Not seeing a picture of the unit, probably worth $1000 or so in its present condition, IMO. Good luck.

Did he give you an idea of how much they want for it? Is it towable? These are questions that a potential buyer will ask does it still have the floor if not question 2 would be a no. I saw a beautiful sail boat that had been pushed 3 miles inland by Katrina. No damage but land locked so value went from 125k to 3.5k scrap value so in short if it can not travel you have parts and scrap.
Just my humble opinion so take it at its value.
Thanks for listening
Gotta get busy! Have a great day! Now where did I put those revits?

Photos would help. Does it have a good title? You could put it on ebay starting at $1000 and see what happens.
Sail on silver girl. Sail on by. Your time has come to shine.
