1970 overlander

I am planning to separate the hull and chassis of the 1970 overlander.
The chassis I will have sand blasted and painted.

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the wooden floor by an aluminium floor?
Also, where would I be able to obtain drawings of the Chassis?

Appreciate anybodys input,

Regards,

Egbert

Welcome to the forums.

Airstream did try an aluminum floor on some Argosy trailers many years ago but had some issues with the floor sagging between the supports. There are many 30+ year old trailers on the road with the original plywood floors, the secret is keeping them from getting wet.
