1969 Sovereign 31' - floor width?

Hello. Couldn't find any info on this in any of the searches I did on this forum or other internet searches.

Replacing a full floor (rot everywhere) of a 1969 Airstream Sovereign Land Yacht.

The floor is gone. Wood spacers are between the frame and the C-channel.
I'm putting 3/4" ply back in, but not sure which width to use.

It seems that from end of C-channel to opposite side is about 92 3/8" but when measuring from the edge of the frame to the other edge, its around 91".

So I'm not sure which to go by. If I had to guess, I would go with the frame and not the C-channel width as to not have any over hang on the frame.

I also though that maybe the shell was pulling out and that maybe the edge of C-channel should match the edge of the frame. Though the holes of each may not match up if that were the case.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

There should be about a 1/4" overhang off the end of the outriggers.

Great. Thanks Colin!
I figured as much.

Any chance you can advise on whether or not the inner edge under the C-Channel has to meet up with the edge of the wood?

The thing is I got my floor on (1/4" overhang) and I drilled from underneath through the original outermost outrigger holes and figured that the original holes in the C-channel would line up when I pulled them into position. I was able to do this on a couple holes already but when I look underneath and there's a small gap between the wood and the edge of the c-channel.

Even if this is not supposed to be the case I wouldn't be surprised since (for example) there are countless factory rivets that were supposed to secure the c-channel to the shell by way of buck rivets but didn't do anything because the holes were kind of only half drilled (hard to explain, but long story short, lots of c-channel needs to be re-drilled and riveted.

Ignore that last question.
The channel has a lip underneath set in a little bit.
That lip hits the wood.
Problem solved.
Floor complete.
