The GVWR can be a bit difficult to find for some of the Vintage coaches -- my '64 Overlander International didn't have a placquard on the coach, nor did the owners' manual list the information. When I contacted Airstream, (this was in 1995) they weren't able to give me the GVWR. I ended up estimating the GVWR by adding 1,600 pounds to the empty weight when registering the vehicle.
I suspect that by the time your coach was produced that the information was probably required to be posted on a placquard attached to the coach, and may very well have been found in the owners' manual as well (I know that by '78 the information was posted on a placquard on the front of my Minuet and was also contained in the owners' manual). If someone with a similar coach doesn't answer your question by Monday morning, you may want to contact Airstream Technical Support for a dfinitive answer. You can find the contact information for Airstream Technical Support at:

Good luck with your coach!
