The best answer is to have someone from the list of volunteer inspectors look at the trailer. I love to show off my collection and talk Airstreams.

From a (very) quick browse through the pictures, it looks nice and clean on the inside. But I am surprised that you can still see remnants of the previous WBCCI numbers on the front - especially after a professional polishing. And in the description there is no mention of replacement of axles, converter or subflooring. Tires being "good" is subjective. Most of the big ticket issues can be easily inspected - with patience and guidance. Since you found this site and have this info at your fingertips, you should take full advantage. Many of us purchased *in the blind* only to find our pretty trailer really needed some mechanical/electrical/structural work.
Good luck - hope it turns out to be the sweet deal that it appears.

Whoever wrote the description reversed the waste tank capacities. They currently read:

45-gallon fresh water tank, 20 gallon Gray tank, 10 gallon Black tank

When in reality, the Black tank is 20 US gallons, and the Gray tank is a whopping 10 US gallons.

And... No mention of any re-build on the racks and pans that hold them up in place.

If it's to be, it's up to me.
