Calling all 1970 owners

On theVAP - our next show is the 70th show ( I can't believe it - 70 shows...whew!). As you know, or might not know, back around Episode 60, each Episode we'd like to talk to owners of that year (1970 trailer owners now) regarding what they like / dislike about Airstreams of that year. I'm an Airstream nut, but the 70s just don't do it for me (I'd never turn one down but... - it's just that shag and plastic stuff that don't excite me much)... so I'm asking for you 70s Airstream owners to show that you've got more talk than the limited number of 60s owners that called in to the show - there must be some reason people are drawn to these 70s Airstreams.... so go to Welcome to the Frontpage - The Vintage Airstream Podcast and send us a question / comment (good or bad) to questions@theVAP.com or call us on our voicemail at (206) 339 9077 - let's fill up theVAP voicemail.

You mean to say you don't like the rich "earth tones" and imitation wood veneer used in our trailers?!?!

Say what you will...........

But my 70's trailer weigh less than most of the trailers of the same size.
That being said, I did lose the shag rug and avocado counter top. Not that I don't like avocado, it's just that other colors went better with the new
interior.

Wanted a classic, liked the newer amenities in the 70, as opposed to the older ones, didn't like the 80 or 90's.

Lovin it, going 'full time' in about one month..........
