Funny...Bling Bling was the not so affectionate nickname we had for a Command Sergeant Major in Germany. He drove an Expedition with chrome rims and had two gold front teeth! Please Steve, Bling is not a word I use lightly!
Thanks Lisa

Guess being a CSM, he didn't care what others though of his appearance. Too bad the Army haven't included them in 670-1 like the boycott the Marines and Navy has.

I always thought 670-1 limited jewelry to 2 items at a time

Abby has been getting all my attention lately. Just seems like there is not enough days in the week to be where I want to be. The grass is turning green and I've got an itch to go Airstreaming!

Second owner

Today I called the second owner of Abby. He lives on the South side of Austin. He is a real nice fellow that told me he bought Abby at an estate (from the original owner's estate) sale for $1,200. The neighbors told him she was parked in the yard from 1984 until 2004. He spent a lot of time and money bringing Abby back to usable condition. He really enjoyed having Abby. He sounded very happy that I was doing my best to make Abby like new. I love history. History of Airstreams is even better!

Unhappy Abby got no attention this weekend

Ahhh. Things pile up. I have been putting off working on my M3 for about three months now. It seems that Abby was getting all my attention. Today I gave some of my attention to my blue Bimmer. I have had this car since 2000. I bought her from some computer geek from Charlotte, NC. She is the best car I have ever owned. She just rolled over 151,000 miles last week. I had to replace the window regulator and motor. She looks good sitting next to Abby.

It does have 260 HP!

I would like to find a 540i wagon for towing. A slick set up that would be!

Ready to camp!

Hello y'all,
If you have been following "Abby gets some separation H" you know that Abby is ready to hit the road and go camping! If not, well you know now. It has been a long time since we went to Big Bend NP for New Years. Since then I have done a little work to get Abby ready to roll! This evening, my wife and I made the beds and prepped Abby for our first trip since the new year. We are attending the Central Texas Rally in San Marcos this weekend. We are leaving tomorrow and are so very excited to be camping again! There will be lots of pictures to come. I promise. Let's go have some fun!

We're out camping. Having a ball. Here is a pic from Friday when we rolled her out of the yard after five months.

Thanks Chris, Baseman and Steve. We really had a great time this past weekend. It was just an awesome feeling to be out camping in her again. All smiles. It was nice to hear all the compliments from people on how she looked. Truly a rewarding experience!
