OK Kay: You are right. A guy has to be half obsessed with something to want to lay under a 45 year old Airstream and have mouse dung fall in his face. And call it fun to boot.

the knee is better and so is the weather. finally got all the old sealants off the exterior. I found professional strength goof off worked best for me. stripped off the clear coat with citri strip.

next i enlarged openings for new fans and vents. i made patches over the openings to cover the old holes and to give me some new aluminum to attach to

was hoping to get roof patched and ready to paint this weekend but the weather did not cooperate. fun with patches instead

finally got some good weather. 2 coats of primer and 1 coat of top coat. will need another break in the rain to apply 2nd top coat. went with bus kote. it was like painting with glue but seemed to really seat the seams.

The job you completed is one I have to start on my trailer. I'm sure you will find the white paint will reflect a good deal of summer sun heat, and the new fans will pull hot air out of your trailer.

polished up the front cap and got new lights and repainted letters installed. not sure why it rotates my photos

got some new wing windows from inland. they don't seem to match the radius of the shell. does anyone know if I can bend these without the glass breaking?
